Hyatt Road Expansion + Renovation

Dorsa is working with the owners of this existing home overlooking New York's Sound to create the clients ultimate sanctuary. The project consists of a building expansion and gut renovation as well as a new pool deck and exterior amenity space. Dorsa is currently working with the interdisciplinary team on permitting, designing, planning, scheduling and budgeting needs of the project. The project is in the design development phase with a target built date of Winter 2024/2025.
Dinah Rock Road Renovation

As the Owner's Representative, Dorsa oversaw the renovation and site planning of this charming 1775 cottage for the new owner. The project included a phased approach with future plans for a garage/pool house and pool development. The project posed challenges such as the home's hillside location and the need for new property-wide systems like septic and code improvements. Dorsa collaborated with the homeowner and Studio BZB to coordinate the renovation and design of both the home interiors and exteriors.

West Neck Pool House Build

Dorsa is working with the homeowners of this Shelter Island property to design and build a four season pool house.
Working with the lead architect and homeowners, Dorsa has developed plans and designs for the pool house, which will complement the completed pool. She provided a phased project build-out approach, coordinating with the necessary parties to obtain permits and updates for the septic system.
West Neck Guest Cottage Renovation

Dorsa oversaw the design and construction of this Shelter Island property, working closely with the homeowners, general contractors, and health department to ensure the successful execution of the project. The guest house renovation, pool, and patio were the first phase of this development.
Dorsa was brought on during the permitting phase and has managed the project ensuring that all aspects of the estate redesign and renovation meet the client's needs and expectations. The project is now complete and ready for the homeowners to enjoy their new island getaway.
North Oak Avenue Renovation

Dorsa provided consultation to the new homeowner of this Coconut Grove townhome for the design and layout of a full home renovation and expansion project. Dorsa's recommendations and adjustments to the Architect's plans were made to better address the client's current and future needs.
Hydroponic Urban Farm
Miami, FL

As a project consultant, Dorsa played a key role in the development of a proposed Hydroponic Urban Farm in Miami's Allapattah neighborhood. The project involved the conversion of a 4,300 sf industrial warehouse into a container farming production space. The Farm aimed to provide an innovative source of urban farming and local food production while promoting community engagement and empowerment. Specifically, the project sought to improve access to fresh produce for low to moderate income (LMI) residents in the area. Dorsa's contributions included concept development, partnership sourcing, and conducting a pre-feasibility study to secure grant-funding for the project.

From concept creation to event curation, Dorsa's multifaceted role included business development, licensing and permitting, sales and marketing, branding, contract management, accounting, and more.
Platform is a curated space that fosters connections between creatives, industry professionals, and end users, with a mission to promote unique products and services that enhance clients' lifestyles. Since its launch in 2018, Platform has hosted hundreds of exhibitions, pop-ups, trunk shows, lectures, and community events, establishing itself as a hub for Miami's vibrant creative community.
