Founded by Dorsa Afsharjavan, a Land Engineer and Landscape Designer with a family background in interior design, engineering, and the arts, our company merges various disciplines to support stakeholders and trades involved in a project.
Dorsa's multi-disciplinary background and keen eye for detail, logistics, and execution guide projects from concept development to final realization in Miami, New York, and Washington, DC. About Dorsa ING, PMP, ASLA, LEED GE
Dorsa is a first-generation Iranian-American with a passion for design, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Her rich upbringing amongst a community of designers, engineers, artists, builders, producers, and serial entrepreneurs instilled in her a worldly and holistic perspective.
Dorsa's interest in the arts and the built environment led her to pursue a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Maryland, with a Minor in Sustainability Studies and an Arts Citation. She continued to gain professional experience through a range of positions and global projects with renowned companies such as Enea, LSG, and RHI. Dorsa's studies continued with a Masters of Landscape Engineering and Environmental Sciences, which she completed at the Czech University of Life Sciences, graduating at the top of her class.
Dorsa's travels have taken her across the globe, including living and working in Washington, DC, Miami Beach, FL, Shelter Island, NY, NYC, Monteverde, Costa Rica, Prague, Czech Republic, and Zürich, Switzerland. Her expansive portfolio includes a range of clients across various scales and scopes, both in the public and private sectors.
Throughout the years, Dorsa has excelled in leadership and project management positions, wearing multiple hats and sparking her passion for entrepreneurial business and project management, leading her to obtain her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Dorsa is fluent in English, Farsi and intermediate in Spanish.
